HTC Dream with Android OS

 
It looks like HTC was persuaded to drop Windows mobile OS and made Omni into Google’s Android demo phone. Here’s what Forbes describes it as:  
The phone, code-named “Dream” inside Google, looks somewhat like Apple’s iPhone: It is thin, about 3 inches wide and 5 inches long, and features a touch-sensitive, rectangular screen… The bottom end of the handset, near the navigational controls, is slightly beveled so it nestles in the palm. The screen also swivels to one side, revealing a full keyboard beneath. (The screen display changes from a vertical portrait mode to a horizontal display when someone uses the keyboard.)

2. HP iPAQ 210 Enterprise Handheld (Previously #2) - The new iPAQ 210 is in the tradition of high-end models like the iPAQ hx4700 or Dell Axim X51v. It  offers a 4-inch, VGA 4-inch touchscreen; a 624 MHz processor; and a 2200 mAh battery. It also includes both SD and CompactFlash card slots. 3. RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8130 (New) - This consumer-oriented smartphone from RIM is available from Sprint. It is an updated version from the one that debuted in 2006, and includes features like the 3G service EV-DO and a built-in GPS receiver. 4. HTC Touch (Previously #6) - The HTC Touch is a Windows Mobile 6 smartphone designed around a new fingertip-oriented control system. In addition, it offers a sleek consumer-oriented design. A GSM version of the it has been making waving in Europe and Asia since last summer, and Sprint  introduced a CDMA version in the U.S. in the fall. 6. Samsung BlackJack II (Previously #4) - As its name implies, the BlackJack II is an updated version of a Windows Mobile smartphone that AT&T launched in 2006. The newer model adds an internal GPS receiver to its predecessor’s design, as well as overseas 3G support, Windows Mobile 6 Standard, more internal memory, and a higher-resolution 2 megapixel camera. 7. Nokia N96 (New) - The Nokia N96 is an upcoming high-end Symbian/S60 smartphone with a multimedia focus. This is an upgrade for the N95, and offers 16 GB of internal storage, twice as much as the previous model. It will be able to play video in a variety of formats on its 2.8-inch, QVGA display.
